Proposal for Experiential space

For the next project of Experiential Space, I would like to explore making an enclosed space of viewing. I want to create an environment where the viewer has to lay under a set up and peer through a small space while on their back. The video created will show the sky and go through the process of a view being lowered into the ground and buried alive in a makeshift coffin.

My goal is to explore the fear of being in enclosed spaces, not knowing, and the fear of being buried prematurely before death. Though morbid at the thought the idea is to pull the viewer from reality and into this on created, leaving them question why and what brought this to happen.

The challenge for me will be the making of the prop that holds the viewing. A little bit of handy work will be needed and the carrying of it around campus will have to be put into play.
